When it’s time to say goodbye, it can feel impossible to imagine your world without your beloved pet. You think fondly on the first moment your eyes met and all the hope that filled your heart for a lifetime of happiness together.
Our dogs, for so many of us, come into our lives just when we needed them the most. When we think of our time together, we realize that they’ve taught us things we didn’t know we needed to learn.
Choosing to let them go peacefully, if we get the opportunity, is a gift. It is the least we can do for our best friends who have given their entire life to us.
